OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT & BEYOND...
For over 90 years, Wayside Cross Ministries has provided restoration and recovery for the impoverished, addited, and abused. Men, women, and children are discovering new life and new hope. Aurora used to be the end of the line for people leaving Chicago. Today, Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora is a place of transformation.
Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ helps through donation of all remaining items from our bi-annual rummage sales in support of Wayside Cross Ministries.

Exodus World Service mobilizes the Christian community to welcome and befriend refugees. EWS does this by educating churches about refugee ministry, connecting volunteers with refugees through practical service projects, and equipping leaders to advocate on behalf of refugees.
World Relief began offering services in DuPage County in 1979 and then opened an additional office in Aurora in 1999. We are a Christ-centered organization that partners with local churches and works with hundreds of individuals as well as community groups to offer a comprehensive range of services to refugees and immigrants living in DuPage and Kane Counties
Through the Love Your Neighbor Ministry, our church helps refugees from all over the world by collecting items for a Care Pack and delivering them to refugee families in the Dupage/Aurora area. Also individual members of our church are volunteering to pick up new refugee arrivals at the airport, teach ESL, take them to doctor appointments, tutor for the Citizenship Test or be New Neighbor/New Friendship Partners for refugees and their families.

Since 1961 Operating in the Greater Fox Valley area and other Western suburban counties, AID is a leading provider of services that address the unique needs of individuals throughout every stage of their life. The Association for Individual Development has served individuals with development, intellectual, physical and or mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma and or those at risk.
Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ has made it our Mission to bring Christmas to the individuals and their families who are part of AID. We have our annual AID Christmas Giving Tree where anyone can participate by taking tag off the tree and completing the gift request on the tag. Mission’s ensure each adult, woman and child receive a minimum of 3 gifts each. It has been God Grace that has allowed us to continue in this spirit for the last 13 years, delivering the gift annually to the AID Christmas Party.
